Anika Noi Rose Anika Noi Rose, an American actor and singer, is a renowned name in the entertainment industry. She is best known for her voice of Tiana as Tiana in The Princess and the Frog as the one and only African American Disney Princess. Disney Legends featured her one of the 2011 Disney Legends. Rose played Lorrell Robinson, her character in the Academy Award winning film Dreamgirls. Anika Noni Rose (born on September 6, 1972) is an American performer and actress. The most famous role she has played is as Tiana, Disney's first African American princess from The Princess and the Frog (2009). Disney Legend was bestowed upon her in 2011. The actress is also known for her role in the film Lorrell in Dreamgirls which was the Academy Award winning film (2006) and as LaVerne in the Starz's Power. Her performances in the theatre are well-known as well, especially her roles as Emmie Thbodeaux in Caroline or Change, a Broadway production of the musical Caroline or Change (2004) which won her an award for the Tony Award Best Featured actress in an Musical. She was also nominated to win her nomination for Tony Award Best Featured actor in a production of the Broadway revival of A Raisin in the Sun.

Pivarnick has been the face of reality television in the United States since she joined the top cast of the M.T.V. show Jersey Shore.
